So in the past week or so I’ve acqiured two new toys! An asus eeePC 701 (hooray!) and a Viglen MPC-L! The eee I bought from Popey, and the Viglen I wno on the Ubuntu UK Podcast! Double hooray!

So why the hoorayness for both of these new toys? Well, I’ve been after an eeepc for a little while now, as it’s a wonderful little device that’s awesome for carrying around and doing bits on. I’m sat writing this on it now. The Viglen was an unexpected bonus, but what a bonus! My plan for that is to replace my current security device with it, but add a second webcam (modified for ir) and a usb missile launcher, for shooting burglers with soft foam darts.

The USB Missile Launcher has been purchased from ebay now, so hopefully I’ll get moving a bit on that after my exams next week
