Here’s an interesting experience, writing a new post on the train.
On my way back to Swansea after a weekend in nice weekend in Exeter. Exams are over and all I have to worry about is getting the catchup and assessed work done from before christmas over the next week. This train is remarkably quiet….. at least in this carridge. I don’t know why but being on the train is a remarkable incentive to getting something done. My lab report for my group project is now nearly complete. Just another few pages and it should be ready to be proof read, though some of it reads like it should be in the Sun rather than in a scientific report. Nearly 6, so should be home shortly.
On the work front, I’m going to seriously need to get ahead with some of this work before going off to America over easter. 3 weeks is a lot of time to lose, although I doubt it would have been that productive otherwise. Will need to put some serious work into my Astrophysics lecture, something tells me that with the new lecturer it might not be as simple as it once was…
Bleh, I’m rambling now. Looks like we’re going through Port Talbot now. I am enjoying the Travelling Wilburys though, that and Alison Krauss.
Might try and spend a few nights out with a telescope this term. Will have to see if there’s anything interesting coming into view over the next few weeks. Right, need to sort my stuff out before I get home, so that will do for now!
